Marriages at St. Aloysius and St. Vincent are scheduled on an individual basis. The marriage preparation process should begin at least six months before the wedding date.

To schedule a wedding, please contact the parish office or Fr. Riley directly.

In order to be married in the Catholic Church in the Diocese of Fargo, all couples must:
 

• Begin the marriage preparation process with a priest at least six months before the wedding date.
• Meet with a priest a minimum of three times.
• Complete a FOCCUS Inventory or other marriage enrichment tool.
• Complete a full Natural Family Planning Course approved by the Diocese of Fargo.
• Attend and participate in a Marriage Preparation Retreat Weekend.

Planning your church wedding is the fun part! Below is a list of questions to consider as you speak meet with Fr. Riley.

• Does the date and time of your wedding work for the church?
• Will the wedding be inside or outside of a Mass (under ordinary circumstances, all weddings between two Catholics will be inside of a Mass)?
• Which readings should we choose? (Reading choices here)
• What music should I choose? (All music must be in the parish hymnal)
• Will I memorize my vows? (Text of wedding vows here. Please do not choose the "I Do"s.)
